Next Flipkart sale 2026: Big Billion Days ends tonight, Diwali sale page is up but has no dates yet

Short answer: the next Flipkart sale in 2026 looks set to be the Big Bang Diwali Sale. Flipkart already has a Big Bang Diwali store page up, headed "Upcoming Flipkart Diwali Sale", but it hasn't announced the dates or which bank cards get a discount. What is confirmed is that Big Billion Days' Axis Bank and ICICI Bank card offers end at 11:59 PM tonight, 18 October.

We checked Flipkart's store pages, the bank-offer terms and news reports at about 7:15 PM IST on 18 October 2026. Flipkart can change sale timings and offers without notice.

Flipkart sale ends on: what's confirmed tonight

One caution: The Sunday Guardian pointed out on Sunday morning that it couldn't find an official overall end date, only the bank offers' 18 October validity. In practice the bank discount is most of the sale's value for big purchases, so treat 11:59 PM tonight as your deadline either way.

What you still get until 11:59 PM

Per Axis Bank's and ICICI Bank's published terms, summarised by Monzy, the 10% instant discount from 11 to 18 October is capped at:

Select products also carry one-time bonuses on bigger carts, from ₹500 at ₹24,990 up to ₹5,000 at ₹99,990, capped at ₹13,250 per card for the sale.

Who doesn't get it: the Flipkart Axis Bank card on full payment (it gets an EMI-only offer, or its regular 5% cashback), the Amazon Pay ICICI card, corporate cards, debit cards, and any payment through UPI or net banking.

The next Flipkart sale: what's known and what's a guess

Known: Flipkart's Big Bang Diwali store page is live and labelled "Upcoming Flipkart Diwali Sale". That's Flipkart's usual name for its pre-Diwali sale.

Not known: the start date, the end date and the bank partners. Flipkart hasn't announced any of them as of Sunday evening.

What trackers say (unconfirmed): the dates being shared online don't agree with each other. A tech blog, woootech, expects a Big Bang Diwali Sale "around October 20 to 25" and says Flipkart hasn't confirmed it. Bajaj Finance's guide expects a Dussehra sale around 20 October and the Diwali sale in late October. DesiDime says Flipkart usually runs a Dussehra sale around the festival, which falls on Tuesday 20 October. None of these comes from Flipkart, so don't plan a big purchase around any one of them.

Buy tonight or wait?

• Buying a phone, laptop or appliance with an Axis or ICICI card? Tonight is the last confirmed window for that 10%. The next sale's bank partner might be a different bank, or nobody.
• Price, not card, is what matters to you? There's no rule that the Diwali sale will be cheaper. Woootech notes that brands that sold through stock this week may not cut prices deeper a few days later. Add the item to your wishlist and compare when the next sale opens.
