A About
Why is everyone searching this?
That is the question behind the name. Kyun means why.
Every day, millions of people in India type the same sudden question into Google. A new rule, a film release, a festival date, a fee nobody understood. For a day or two the search spikes, and most of what comes back is thin, late or wrong.
KyunTrend exists to be the clear answer in that window. India searches it, we answer it, clearly and correctly, within a day.
What we publish
- Breakout Explainers: what happened and what it means for you, within hours of a spike.
- Deep Dives: the longer story, with context and numbers.
- How-to Guides: step-by-step help for the thing you actually need to do.
- Myth vs Fact: the claims going round on WhatsApp, checked against primary sources.
- Timelines: how a story unfolded, date by date.
- Tools: calculators and checkers when the question is really a sum.
How we pick stories
We scan Google Trends for India twice a day and look for queries at breakout level, meaning searches that grew by more than 5,000% in a short window. We score each one on how many people it affects, how much confusion there is, and whether we can answer it from reliable sources. We skip anything involving betting, piracy, leaks, explicit or morphed media, or unverified allegations.
