How we confirm a date: Mandaadi's date was announced by Netflix itself (TOI, ET, Outlook), and its title page lists all five audio languages. Pradhama Drishtya Kuttakkar's 9 October Netflix date was reported by ET, Moneycontrol, The Week and TOI. Every other row appears in at least one of the week round-ups from The Economic Times, Vogue India and Jagran English, and most appear in two or three. The tracker shows the source for each row. Rent or buy means a one-time payment on top of any subscription.
Mandaadi: why it's the most-searched
The Tamil sports-action film, directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi and starring Soori, Suhas and Mahima Nambiar, opened in theatres on 10 September. Its makers say it crossed ₹150 crore worldwide and ₹100 crore in Tamil Nadu (TOI, Outlook). It reached Netflix less than a month after release, while it was still in cinemas, which is why "mandadi ott release" became one of the biggest OTT breakouts of the month.
Searched for, but not confirmed
- Premada Oorali and Batwara 1947: no official OTT date as of 10 October.
Sites that post "OTT release date" lists for films without an announcement are guessing. Wait for the platform's own post or the title's page on its app.
We update the OTT this week tracker every week. Next update: the 12–18 October releases, as platforms confirm them.
