43 inch smart TV under 15000 in India (October 2026): 5 picks with prices checked on 18 Oct

Searches for a 43-inch smart TV under ₹15,000 jumped on Sunday night as the festive sales wind down. We checked the live price lists from 91mobiles and MySmartPrice, the brand spec sheets and a two-month hands-on review to shortlist five Full HD TVs, and to spell out what this budget can't buy you.

TL;DRThe short version

  • Safest pick: the Thomson FA Series 43RT1055 at ₹14,999 on Flipkart (91mobiles, 18 Oct): Android TV, 3 HDMI ports, 30W sound and a 4.3/5 rating from about 1.28 lakh buyers.
  • Cheapest 43-inch: the Uniboom Ultima 43S-ULT-AED at ₹13,990 (91mobiles and MySmartPrice, 18 Oct). QLED on a budget: the Visio World VW43AQ3 at ₹14,499 on Amazon (91mobiles, 16 Oct).
  • Know the trade-off: every TV here is Full HD at 60Hz, not 4K. A '4K' or '144Hz' claim at ₹15,000 deserves suspicion, and non-Google smart TVs can cap Netflix and JioHotstar at 720p.
  • Compare 43-inch smart TVs under ₹15,000 on Amazon: amazon.in: 43-inch smart TVsPrices move daily during festive sales; check the seller, warranty and final price before you pay.

Short answer: the Thomson FA Series 43RT1055 (₹14,999) is the 43 inch smart TV under 15000 most people should buy this week. Go for the Uniboom Ultima 43S-ULT-AED (₹13,990) if every rupee counts, or the Visio World VW43AQ3 (₹14,499) if you want a QLED panel and HDR10.

Prices come from 91mobiles' and MySmartPrice's lists, both updated on 18 October 2026, which we checked at about 9:20 PM IST. The Visio World price is from 91mobiles' Amazon deal report of 16 October, and the Foxsky price is from Foxsky's own store. Festive-sale prices change daily, so treat them as a guide.

How we chose

  • Shortlist: 43-inch smart TVs listed at or under ₹15,000 on the 18 October price lists from 91mobiles and MySmartPrice, plus a current Amazon deal reported by 91mobiles.
  • What we weighed: the smart OS (Android TV or not), HDMI ports, speaker output, and how many buyers have rated the TV. A 4.3 from over a lakh buyers tells you more than a 4.1 from a few hundred.
  • Hands-on input: for what a ₹15,000 43-inch TV is like to live with, we leaned on PadhkeDekho's two-month review of a VW 43-inch QLED by Angaddeep Singh.
  • What we didn't do: we haven't lab-tested these TVs. Specs are from the brands and the price lists, and we say whose.

The picks

1. Thomson FA Series 43RT1055: best for most homes

  • Price: ₹14,999 on Flipkart, 91mobiles, 18 Oct.
  • Key specs: 43-inch Full HD LED at 60Hz, Android TV, 3 HDMI and 2 USB ports, 30W speakers.
  • Why it's here: it has by far the largest buyer base of any 43-inch TV on these lists, 4.3/5 from about 1.28 lakh ratings on 91mobiles' listing. Three HDMI ports also mean a set-top box, a console and a laptop can stay plugged in.
  • Watch out for: it sits right at the ₹15,000 ceiling, so a small price change can push it over. 91mobiles lists it on Flipkart, so check Amazon for the same model number before you decide.

2. Visio World VW43AQ3: best QLED under ₹15,000

  • Price: ₹14,499 on Amazon against an MRP of ₹29,999, as reported by 91mobiles on 16 Oct.
  • Key specs (91mobiles): 43-inch Full HD QLED at 60Hz with HDR10, Android TV on a quad-core chip, 24W box speakers, 2 HDMI 2.0 and 1 HDMI 2.1 ports, 2 USB, Wi-Fi and Ethernet, rated 96 kWh a year.
  • Why it's here: it's the only QLED panel we could confirm at a 43-inch size under ₹15,000, and the port selection is the best in this list.
  • Watch out for: 91mobiles itself notes it's Full HD, not 4K. Visio World is a newer brand, so check the service network in your city.

3. Uniboom Ultima 43S-ULT-AED: cheapest 43-inch smart TV

  • Price: ₹13,990 on both 91mobiles and MySmartPrice, 18 Oct.
  • Key specs: 43-inch Full HD LED at 60Hz, Android TV, 2 USB ports, 30W sound.
  • Why it's here: it's the lowest live price for a 43-inch smart TV on both lists, a full ₹1,000 below the Thomson.
  • Watch out for: only about 600 buyer ratings (4.1/5), and neither list shows its HDMI count. Confirm ports and warranty terms on the listing.

4. Foxsky 43FS-VS: best for voice search

  • Price: ₹14,999 on Foxsky's own store (checked 18 Oct). MySmartPrice lists it with a 4.1/5 rating from about 20,500 buyers.
  • Key specs (Foxsky): 43-inch Full HD at 60Hz, Android 12, quad-core chip, 2 HDMI and 2 USB ports, 30W speakers with Dolby Audio, a Google voice-assistant remote, and a wall mount in the box.
  • Why it's here: a voice remote solves one of the biggest annoyances on cheap TVs, typing search terms with arrow keys.
  • Watch out for: installation is paid and arranged by the brand, per Foxsky's page. Only 2 HDMI ports.

5. Kodak 43SE5004BL: the non-Android option

  • Price: check current price. Both lists include it in their under-₹15,000 pages, but neither showed a live price on 18 Oct.
  • Key specs: 43-inch Full HD at 60Hz, a Linux smart OS, 3 HDMI and 2 USB ports, 30W speakers; 4.1/5 from about 14,000 ratings (91mobiles).
  • Why it's here: a well-known brand name with three HDMI ports, if you mostly watch through a set-top box.
  • Watch out for: a Linux smart OS has a smaller app store than Android TV, and app support is the thing most likely to annoy you later.

What ₹15,000 can't buy you

  • 4K. None of the 43-inch TVs on the 18 October under-₹15,000 lists from 91mobiles and MySmartPrice is 4K. If 4K matters, budget for more than ₹15,000.
  • Full-quality streaming on every app. In PadhkeDekho's two-month review of a VW 43-inch QLED, Angaddeep Singh found Netflix and JioHotstar stuck at 720p because the TV ran its own smart OS on Android 11 without the DRM those apps want. YouTube and ZEE5 played at 1080p. That's the strongest argument for paying a little more for Android TV or Google TV.
  • Storage and Bluetooth. The same review found only about 500MB free out of 4GB of storage, no Bluetooth, and no microphone on the remote. Its tip: a roughly ₹500 aux-to-Bluetooth dongle fixes wireless headphones.
  • A great remote. Cost-cutting usually shows up in the remote first. PadhkeDekho rated the build of the TV 4/5 and the remote 3/5.

Bank and credit card offers this week

  • Amazon: on the Visio World listing, 91mobiles reported up to ₹1,000 off with SBI credit and debit cards, up to ₹434 cashback with the Amazon Pay ICICI card, and no-cost EMI from about ₹510 a month (16 Oct). Offer amounts differ by product, so check the TV's own page.
  • Flipkart Big Billion Days: the Axis Bank and ICICI Bank offers end at 11:59 PM tonight, 18 October. See our next Flipkart sale explainer for what comes after.
  • No-cost EMI: the interest is usually given as an upfront discount, but processing fees and GST on the interest can still apply. Compare the final payable amount, not the monthly figure.

Buying checklist

  • Match the model number. Budget brands sell several 43-inch TVs with similar names. Check the exact model (for example 43RT1055 or VW43AQ3) on the listing.
  • Check the smart OS. Android TV or Google TV gets the widest app support. A custom or Linux OS can limit apps and streaming quality.
  • Count HDMI ports against what you'll plug in: set-top box, console, laptop, soundbar.
  • Ask about installation. Some brands include a wall mount but charge for installation.
  • Buy from an authorised seller so the brand warranty holds, and keep the invoice.

My take

By Anmol Ratan Sachdeva

If I were spending ₹15,000 on a 43-inch TV this week, I'd buy the Thomson. Not because its specs beat the others, but because 1.28 lakh ratings is a track record, and at this price a TV that keeps working for five years matters more than one extra feature on the box.

I'd stretch to the Visio World only if picture quality is the priority and I already have a set-top box or a streaming stick doing the heavy lifting. And I wouldn't believe any 4K, mini LED or 144Hz claim on a ₹15,000 43-inch TV without a proper review saying so.

My honest advice: if your budget can stretch by a few thousand, a Google TV model from a big brand will age better, mainly because of apps. If it can't, these five are where the real choices are, and the Thomson is the one I'd pick.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best 43 inch smart TV under 15000?

For most homes, the Thomson FA Series 43RT1055 (₹14,999 on Flipkart, 91mobiles, 18 Oct 2026). It runs Android TV, has 3 HDMI ports and 30W sound, and carries a 4.3/5 rating from about 1.28 lakh buyers, the largest rating base among the 43-inch TVs at this price.

Can I get a 4K 43 inch TV under 15000?

Not on the 18 October price lists we checked. Every 43-inch TV at or under ₹15,000 on 91mobiles' and MySmartPrice's lists is Full HD (1080p) at 60Hz. Treat any '4K', 'mini LED' or '144Hz' claim at this price with caution and check the panel spec on the listing.

Why does Netflix or JioHotstar look blurry on a cheap smart TV?

Many budget TVs run their own smart OS instead of Google TV and lack the DRM certification the apps want. PadhkeDekho's two-month review of a VW 43-inch QLED found Netflix and JioHotstar capped at 720p, while YouTube and ZEE5 played at 1080p. Prefer an Android TV or Google TV model if streaming matters.

Is a QLED TV under 15000 worth it?

It can be, if you want stronger colours on a tight budget. The Visio World VW43AQ3 is a 43-inch Full HD QLED with HDR10 at ₹14,499 on Amazon (91mobiles, 16 Oct). It isn't the same as a premium Samsung QLED, so judge it as a budget Full HD TV.

Are there bank offers on TVs right now?

On Amazon, 91mobiles reported up to ₹1,000 off with SBI credit and debit cards and up to ₹434 cashback with the Amazon Pay ICICI card on the Visio World TV (16 Oct). Flipkart's Big Billion Days Axis and ICICI offers end at 11:59 PM on 18 October. Check the offer terms on the product page.
