Samsung Galaxy F70 5G price in India: ₹17,999 with the right card, sale at noon on 20 Oct, and who should skip it
The Galaxy F70 5G costs ₹19,999 (4GB/128GB) and ₹22,999 (6GB/128GB) on Flipkart, and ₹2,000 less with a Flipkart Axis or Flipkart SBI credit card. Before you hit Buy at noon, know two things: there's no charger in the box, and Samsung's own Galaxy M17 5G has almost the same spec sheet for less.
TL;DRThe short version
- Price (Flipkart, checked 7:45 AM IST, 19 Oct): 4GB/128GB ₹19,999, 6GB/128GB ₹22,999. With a Flipkart Axis or Flipkart SBI credit card you get ₹2,000 off at checkout plus ₹900 / ₹1,050 cashback later, so Flipkart's "buy at" price is ₹17,099 / ₹19,949.
- What you get: 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED at 90Hz, Exynos 1330, 50MP main camera with OIS, 5,000mAh battery, 25W charging, IP54, 7.5mm, 192g. No charger in the box: Samsung says the 25W adapter is sold separately.
- The catch: Samsung's own Galaxy M17 5G has the same core spec sheet and lists at ₹18,698 (4GB) on Flipkart today. Under ₹21,000, the POCO X7 and Moto G96 give you 8GB RAM, 120Hz+, IP68 and a charger in the box.
- First sale is 20 Oct at 12 noon on Flipkart. Check which card the ₹2,000 discount needs on the listing before you pay (plain link, no affiliate tag): flipkart.com › Samsung Galaxy F70 5G (Bold Black, 128 GB)The listing showed "Notify Me" this morning, and its offer text said "valid till Oct 19, 11:59 PM", so confirm the sale-day offer at checkout.

Short answer: the Galaxy F70 5G is a sensible Samsung phone: a sharp AMOLED screen, an OIS main camera, a slim 7.5mm body and NFC. On price it's harder to defend. ₹19,999 gets you 4GB RAM and no charger, and Samsung's near-identical Galaxy M17 5G costs less. Buy it at the card price only if you want a Samsung and plan to keep it for years. Skip it if you care about speed, battery or gaming.

Galaxy F70 5G price and bank offer, variant by variant
| Galaxy F70 5G | Listed price | Flipkart Axis / Flipkart SBI credit card | Flipkart's "buy at" price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4GB + 128GB | ₹19,999 (MRP ₹29,999) | ₹2,000 instant + ₹900 cashback | ₹17,099 |
| 6GB + 128GB | ₹22,999 (MRP ₹31,999) | ₹2,000 instant + ₹1,050 cashback | ₹19,949 |
Read the fine print on that "buy at" price:
- Checkout vs later. At checkout you pay ₹17,999 (4GB) or ₹20,999 (6GB), the launch prices most reports quote. The cashback is credited to your card after the return period, so it doesn't lower what you pay on sale day.
- Which cards. The ₹2,000 discount was shown only for Flipkart Axis and Flipkart SBI credit cards. ICICI, HDFC, SBI, Axis, Bank of Baroda, IDFC First, Kotak, Yes, BHIM, CRED and Paytm were listed too, but without an amount for this phone, so don't count on ₹2,000 off with those.
- ₹129 fee. Flipkart showed a "+₹129 Protect Promise fee" next to the price.
- Validity. The offer text said "Valid till Oct 19, 2026, 11:59 PM and until stock lasts". Sale-day terms may differ, so check before you pay.

The thing nobody's leading with: it's an M17 5G with a new name
Put the F70 5G's spec sheet next to the Galaxy M17 5G, which Samsung launched in October 2025, and it's hard to find a difference that matters:
| Galaxy F70 5G (Oct 2026) | Galaxy M17 5G (Oct 2025) | |
|---|---|---|
| Chip | Exynos 1330 | Exynos 1330 |
| Display | 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED, 90Hz | 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED, 90Hz |
| Cameras | 50MP OIS + 5MP UW + 2MP macro, 13MP selfie | 50MP OIS + 5MP UW + 2MP macro, 13MP selfie |
| Battery | 5,000mAh, 25W, no adapter | 5,000mAh, 25W, no adapter |
| Body | 7.5mm, IP54, Gorilla Glass Victus+ | 7.5mm, IP54, Gorilla Glass Victus |
| Updates | Not on Samsung's or Flipkart's F70 page | Six OS upgrades + six years of security (Samsung) |
| Price today (Flipkart) | ₹19,999 (4GB) · ₹22,999 (6GB) | ₹18,698 (4GB) · ₹22,474 (6GB) |
F70 specs from Samsung India and Flipkart. M17 specs from Samsung's launch release. Both listings checked 19 Oct.
Two things stand out. First, the M17 launched at ₹12,499 (4GB) in October 2025 and now lists at ₹18,698, so phone prices in this segment have climbed over the year and the F70's ₹19,999 sits with that trend. Second, Samsung put the M17's six-generation update promise in its launch release. For the F70, FoneArena reports four OS upgrades and five years of security patches, and we couldn't find any figure on Samsung's or Flipkart's F70 pages. If long updates are why you're buying a Samsung, that gap matters. We'll update this when Samsung confirms.
Pro Tech Village's Yash noticed this in his pre-launch video. The spec sheet sounded familiar, he said, because it's the same phone Samsung already sold as the F17, the A17 and the M17, now arriving as the F70. (The A17 and F17 links are his claim. We only compared the M17 spec sheet.)
What reviewers say
Two Hindi-language YouTube videos had transcripts we could check. Here's what each creator said, and where their claims hold up.
Tech iMate, unboxing and full review: the box has only a USB-C to C cable, so "if you want an adapter, you'll have to buy it separately". The phone feels slim, light and comfortable for long video sessions, though one-handed use isn't practical, and the frame and back are plastic. The display's colours look "close to natural" with decent outdoor brightness. The Exynos 1330 handles normal tasks and multitasking well but is "not aimed at gaming at all", just light time-pass games. There's some bloatware you can uninstall. A full 0–100% charge took about 1 hour 20 minutes. Overall the creator rates it good for ~₹20,000, mainly for the FHD+ Super AMOLED screen. Treat some of the video's spec claims with care: it says 120Hz, IP64, a 30MP selfie camera and 4K recording, but Flipkart's listing shows 90Hz, IP54, 13MP and 1080p at 30fps.
Pro Tech Village (Yash), "Should you buy at ₹19,999?": recorded before launch from Flipkart's teaser page. He likes the 50MP OIS main camera and the FHD+ AMOLED, when many ₹20,000 phones still ship HD+ panels. His complaints: the waterdrop notch looks dated, it's 90Hz rather than 120Hz, there's no 4K or even 1080p 60fps video (the Flipkart listing confirms 1080p at 30fps), 4GB RAM is low for ₹20,000, and the 5,000mAh battery is small next to rivals' 6,500–7,000mAh. His verdict: "in today's conditions it's not worth buying". He'd look at Poco, Motorola or Realme instead.
Galaxy F70 5G vs rivals under ₹23,000

| Phone (RAM/storage) | Price | Chip | Display | Battery, charger | Durability | Rear video |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Galaxy F70 5G (4/128) | ₹19,999 | Exynos 1330 | 6.7" AMOLED, 90Hz | 5,000mAh, 25W, no charger | IP54 | 1080p 30fps |
| POCO X7 5G (8/128) | ₹17,999 | Dimensity 7300 Ultra | 120Hz curved AMOLED | 5,500mAh, 45W charger in box | IP68 | 4K 30fps |
| Motorola G96 5G (8/128) | ₹20,999 | Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 | pOLED, up to 144Hz | 5,500mAh, 33W charger in box | IP68 | 4K 30fps |
| OPPO K13 5G (8/128) | ₹21,949 | Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 | 6.67" AMOLED, 120Hz | 7,000mAh, 80W charger in box | IP65 | not listed |
On paper, every rival here has twice the RAM, a faster refresh rate, a charger in the box and better water resistance. What the F70 has going for it is Samsung's service network, Samsung Wallet/Knox and, probably, a longer update window, though for the F70 that window isn't confirmed yet. Prefer buying on Amazon? The F70's twin, the M17 5G, is sold there too: compare Galaxy M17 5G prices on Amazon.
My take
I'd call the Galaxy F70 5G a good phone at the wrong price. Nothing on the spec sheet is bad. The Super AMOLED panel, the OIS camera and NFC for tap-to-pay are what a lot of people buying their parents' or their own "just works" phone actually need. But it's the Galaxy M17 5G with a new name, a new colour and a ₹1,300 higher price on Flipkart today. Leaving the charger out of a ₹20,000 phone, when the POCO X7, Moto G96 and OPPO K13 all include one, makes the gap wider.
Buy it if: you want a Samsung (service centres in small towns, One UI, Samsung Wallet), you'll use it lightly for calls, UPI, YouTube and photos, you have a Flipkart Axis or Flipkart SBI credit card to bring the 4GB model to ₹17,999 at checkout, and you already own a USB-C charger.
Skip it if: you game, you shoot a lot of video (no 4K, no 60fps), you want a charger in the box, or you're eyeing the 6GB model. At ₹22,999 that variant makes little sense when the Moto G96 with 8GB RAM is ₹20,999.
My pick: if it must be a Samsung, check the M17 5G's price on the day and buy whichever is cheaper, because you're getting the same phone either way. If the brand doesn't matter, the POCO X7 at ₹17,999 is the stronger phone for less money. I haven't used the F70 myself. This verdict is built on the official spec sheets, the live Flipkart listings and the creators credited above.
