How to do the BSF admit card download on 22 October
- From 9:00 AM on 22 October, open rectt.bsf.gov.in (link at the top). Wait for the SMS or email BSF says it will send to your registered mobile number and email ID.
- Find the admit card link for the CBT for HC (RO) and HC (RM), Communication Setup 2025 in the notices or important-links section.
- Log in with the credentials you used when you applied.
- Download the card, check it, and print at least two copies. BSF tells candidates to keep an extra copy for the later stages.
Check these lines on the card: your photo and name, the post (RO or RM), your CBT roll number (separate from your BSF roll number, and used to log in to the test system), the shift, and the full centre address. If something is wrong, raise it with BSF before exam day, not at the centre.
What changes from the earlier stages
- It's a computer-based test. You'll log in on a terminal with the CBT roll number printed on the card. BSF has put practice mock tests on bsf.gov.in so you can get used to the interface (Jagran Josh).
- The cut is tight. BSF will move forward only up to 6 times the number of advertised vacancies after the CBT (Jagran Josh, citing the notice). The notice as reported doesn't say how that ratio is split between the two posts or by category, but either way a bare pass mark may not be enough.
- Documents. You need the printed e-admit card and a valid original photo ID. A phone screenshot isn't the same as a printout.
01
Myth The BSF RO RM admit card is out today, and the direct link is on Telegram.
Fact No. BSF's notice says the e-admit card opens on 22 October 2026 at 9:00 AM on rectt.bsf.gov.in. Before that, there is no official download link. Don't enter your registration number or date of birth on any other site.
02
Myth BSF will post the admit card to my address.
Fact BSF says no admit cards will be sent by post. You'll get an SMS and email on your registered contact details when the link is live, and you download and print it yourself (Jagran Josh).
03
Myth I can walk in up to the 9 AM start.

04
Myth Clearing the CBT means I'm selected.
