Airport Authority of India admit card download: AAI Manager, JE CBT on 21 and 26 October

The Airports Authority of India's admit cards for its Manager and Junior Executive CBT (Advt. No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT) are live, and the first exam day is Wednesday, 21 October. Which day you sit depends on your post code. Here's the post-wise schedule, the paper split and the official login.

TL;DRThe short version

  • The cards are out, the exam is close. AAI's notice of 14 October 2026 put the admit card for its Manager and Junior Executive CBT online, and the download stays open until 26 October (AAI notice; Times of India). It covers 389 posts across 15 post codes in AAI's advertisement.
  • Two exam days, split by post code. Wednesday 21 October: Manager (Elect, Finance, Architecture, Law, Fire Services, Commercial, Corporate Communications) and JE (Finance, Survey & Cartography). Monday 26 October: Manager (Civil, IT, Operations, CP&MS) and JE (Law, Operations). AAI calls the dates tentative; your card is final.
  • Login: registration number plus password or date of birth in the DD-MM-YY format AAI's notice gives. The paper is 120 marks in two hours, with no negative marking.
  • Open AAI's recruitment dashboard, find Advt. No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT and click 'Click Here' in the Admit Card column to log in and download: aai.aero recruitment dashboard (official)The login itself is hosted on IBPS's registration site (ibpsreg.ibps.in), as AAI's 14 Oct notice shows. It didn't load from our servers outside India; go through the AAI page rather than a forwarded link.

Short answer: the Airport Authority of India admit card download is open now. The Airports Authority of India (AAI, the official name has an "s") put the call letters for its Manager and Junior Executive computer-based test online on 14 October, and the link stays up until 26 October 2026. The catch is the date: AAI has split the 15 posts across Wednesday 21 October and Monday 26 October, so check your post code before you plan travel.

AAI CBT 2026: which day is your exam?

Exam day Post codes and posts
Wed 21 Oct 2026 02 Manager (Engg-Elect) · 03 Manager (Finance) · 05 Manager (Architecture) · 06 Manager (Law) · 07 Manager (Fire Services) · 09 Manager (Commercial) · 11 Manager (Corporate Communications) · 12 JE (Finance) · 15 JE (Survey & Cartography)
Mon 26 Oct 2026 01 Manager (Engg-Civil) · 04 Manager (Information Technology) · 08 Manager (Operations) · 10 Manager (Corporate Planning & Management Services) · 13 JE (Law) · 14 JE (Operations)

This is from AAI's notice signed by its Executive Director (HR) on 23 September, which calls the dates tentative. Your admit card shows the date, shift, reporting time and centre that actually apply to you. The two biggest groups, Manager (Engg-Civil) with 145 posts and JE (Operations) with 79, both sit on the 26th.

Data from AAI's exam notice, advertisement and syllabus PDFs for Advt. No. 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT.

The checker runs in your browser. It doesn't log you in or fetch your card; it pulls together what AAI has published for each post code in one place.

How to download the AAI admit card

  1. Open the AAI recruitment dashboard (link at the top) and find the row "Direct Recruitment of Managers and Junior Executives in various disciplines under Advt. No: 12/2026/CHQ/DR-CBT".
  2. Click Click Here in the Admit Card column. It opens the login page on IBPS's registration site (ibpsreg.ibps.in), which AAI's notice links to.
  3. Enter your Registration No. and Password or date of birth. AAI's notice says DOB goes in DD-MM-YY format.
  4. Download the call letter, check it, and print it. Carry it with an original photo ID and whatever else the card lists.

Check these lines on the card: your name and photo, the post code and post name, the date and shift, the reporting time and the full centre address. If anything is wrong, raise it before exam day. Careers360 reports the query address as cgrs.ibps.in.

The paper: same length, different weight

Every post gets the same frame: an objective CBT of 120 marks in two hours, and AAI's advertisement says there's no negative marking. What changes is how much of it is your subject.

Part A (general) : Part B (subject) Posts (per AAI's syllabus PDFs)
30 : 70 Manager (Civil), Manager (Elect), Manager (Finance), Manager (Architecture), Manager (Law), JE (Finance), JE (Law)
50 : 50 Manager (IT), JE (Operations), JE (Survey & Cartography)
Not published yet Manager (Fire Services), Manager (Operations), Manager (Commercial), Manager (CP&MS), Manager (Corporate Communications): no syllabus PDF on AAI's syllabus page when we checked at about 11:50 PM IST, 19 Oct

Our read: with two days left for the first group, the split tells you where marks are. A Finance or Law candidate has 84 of 120 marks in their own subject, so a last-minute GK sprint is poor value. For JE (Operations) it's the opposite: Part A is half the paper, and AAI says 20% of Part A is aviation awareness (ICAO, DGCA, BCAS and AERA abbreviations, runway/taxiway/apron terms, Indian airlines and airports, METAR and other aviation weather, and the jobs of immigration, customs and health at airports). That's roughly 12 marks from a list you can revise in an evening. With no negative marking, don't leave anything blank.

After the CBT

  • Manager posts (codes 1–11) go to application verification and an interview.
  • Manager (Fire Services) also has a Physical Measurement Test, a Driving Test and a Physical Endurance Test (running, casualty carrying, pole, rope and ladder climbing) before the interview, and needs a permanent LMV licence at verification.
  • Operations posts need a Light Motor Vehicle licence; AAI says temporary or learner's licences won't be accepted.
  • Shortlisted roll numbers go up only on AAI's website, and AAI tells candidates to check their registered email, spam folder included.

Pay, per the advertisement: Manager (E-3) ₹60,000–3%–₹1,80,000 and Junior Executive (E-1) ₹40,000–3%–₹1,40,000.

01

Myth Everyone sits the AAI exam on 21 October.

Fact No. AAI's schedule splits the 15 post codes across two days. Civil, IT, Operations and CP&MS Managers and JE (Law) and JE (Operations) candidates sit on Monday 26 October. Check the date printed on your own card.

02

Myth There's negative marking, so leave doubtful questions blank.

Fact AAI's advertisement says there won't be any negative marking for wrong answers in the CBT. A blank scores the same as a wrong answer, so attempt every question.

03

Myth The admit card login uses DD/MM/YYYY.

Fact AAI's own 14 October notice says to log in with your Registration No. and Password or DOB in "DD-MM-YY" format. Some news reports give DD/MM/YYYY; if one format fails, try the other before you reset anything.

04

Myth Clearing the CBT gets you the job.

Fact The CBT only shortlists. Next comes application verification with original certificates, interviews for all Manager posts (codes 1–11), and physical and driving tests for Manager (Fire Services) (AAI advertisement).

What we don't know yet

AAI hasn't published shift timings or cut-offs in the notices we read. Those depend on your card and on the result notice. We also couldn't find a syllabus PDF for five Manager posts, so we haven't given their paper split. We'll update this page if AAI changes either exam date or posts an answer key or result.

Trend Monitor
