What the numbers mean
- Per train, 24 coaches add 401 berths (+48.7%). The 16-coach split is 3A 611, 2A 188, 1A 24 (Indian Express); no per-class split for the 24-coach train has been published.
- The 24-coach design adds a pantry car, more toilets and upgraded interiors (TOI).
