EPF payslip calculator: ₹15,000 vs ₹25,000 ceiling

The EPF wage ceiling went up to ₹25,000 a month from 17 September 2026. Enter your basic + DA to see your PF deduction, the employer's split and your take-home, old vs new.

Full-month view (October 2026 payroll onwards). September 2026 is split: 1–16 Sep at ₹15,000 and 17–30 Sep at ₹25,000, filed in one ECR due 15 October (EPFO FAQs). Rounded to the nearest rupee; your employer's payroll may round differently.

If you earn ₹25,000 or less, EPS applies under the new ceiling.

How it's calculated: you pay 12% of PF wages. Your employer also pays 12%: 8.33% of wages up to the ceiling goes to EPS (pension, so ₹2,083 at ₹25,000) and the rest to your EPF. EDLI insurance (0.5%, capped at the ceiling) and admin charges (0.5%) are employer-only costs and can't be deducted from you.
